I’m setting an intention this year to invest in myself. Financially, I want to set up a retirement fund by the end of the year. I also want to spend more time and energy doing things I actually care about, versus grinding the routine where weeks slip away. I hope spending more time with my creative self will result in a new work opportunity this year. The freelance path has been kind to me, I’ve gotten the chance to work with great people and brands – but I want to continue growing as a designer, have the opportunity for mentorship, and be in a collaborative work space full time.
